Easter Flower Traditions

Easter is a great time for flowers!  There are a number of different flowers that are popular this time of year.  Of course, some flowers are specifically connected to Easter, while others are simply in season and look beautiful.  If you’re not sure what flowers you should use for your Easter centerpiece, here are a few suggestions.

The most popular is, of course, the Easter Lily.  These large, white flowers can usually be found decorating churches during Easter Sunday and make a great addition to anyone’s table.

Another popular Easter flower is the tulip.  Tulips are very popular spring flowers, and their bright yellows, reds, and other colors make them perfect for adding a splash of color to your holiday.

Another popular lily is the Calla Lily.  These flowers are very simple and elegant, and they work very well when mixed with other flowers or on their own.

Finally, the daffodil is often used as a symbol of spring.  Since Easter is fairly early this year, we’re still in the transition from winter to spring, so this is a great flower to both celebrate Easter and welcome in spring.
